Our Founder (Late) Rev.Jeyaraj Vedhamanickam, a God fearing man hailing from Kanyakumari district came to Bodi as a clergyman with a commitment to serve the society. Later in 1973 he inspired his wife, a government teacher, to resign her job and started SCISM English School. The Couple gave themselves wholly and their blessings have led the management, the teachers and the students to reach greater heights for the past 40 years.
History Of The School
SCISM SCHOOL was started in the year 1973 by (late) Rev.Jeyaraj Vedhamanickam and Mrs. Annal Kamalam Jeyaraj. It was recognized in the year 1992. It has a vast campus with 2500 children and 100 experienced faculty. The school has well furnished science and computer laboratories. In the 15 sets of Matric students produced, it has 2 state ranks and 7 district ranks to its credit. The first set of Higher Secondary came out in the year 2002 with 1141/1200 topping the list and breaking a town record of 20 years. The bulk result in our +2 still remains the best in the first set results of Higher Secondary School in the newly formed Theni revenue district
In the year 2012, the new management took steps to construct new building with well furnished furniture and introduced new technologies based on current trend and brought some systematic changes in the academic field. Also the Management has a future plan of fetching new modern things based on education and other oral skills for the development and the growth of every thought.
The school renders the same service in the field of education with dedicated and responsible teachers producing better citizens Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Auditors, Teachers and other professional with all round development with special interest and focus on Spoken English and personality development.
