History of the School

SCISM School was founded in the year 1973 by (Late) Rev. Jeyaraj Vedhamanickam and Mrs. Annal Kamalam Jeyaraj. The school received official recognition in 1992.

Today, the institution stands proudly on a vast campus with 2500 students and 100 experienced faculty members. The school is equipped with well-furnished science and computer laboratories that support advanced learning.

Among the 15 batches of Matric students produced, the school has achieved 2 State Ranks and 7 District Ranks. The first Higher Secondary batch, which passed out in 2002, secured an outstanding score of 1141/1200, breaking a 20-year town record.

The bulk results in +2 continue to remain among the best in the first set results of Higher Secondary Schools in the newly formed Theni Revenue District.

In the year 2012, the new management undertook major developments including the construction of new buildings with modern furniture, introduction of updated technologies aligned with current trends, and systematic improvements in academic administration.

The management envisions introducing more modern educational tools and oral skill development programs to ensure the overall growth of every student.

The school continues to render dedicated service in the field of education through responsible and committed teachers, producing accomplished professionals including Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Auditors, Teachers, and other specialists.

Special emphasis is placed on Spoken English and personality development to ensure well-rounded growth.
